How can you determine if a logo is designed well?The first thing to consider is the usage. Will your new logo be used on billboards as well as business cards? And will it retain its integrity of appearance in both applications.
The next thing to determine is its legibility. How does it read? If it is representing a boat, will people see a boat, or will they interpret it as something else?
Thirdly, does it have good recognition value? Does everyone who will see it, recognize what a boat is and what it is for? Is it something they are accustomed to seeing?
If it is to be used on the internet, will all markets around the world understand in the same way what they are looking at when they see it.
Next, does it convey the message you wish to convey about your company or service? Does it give the right impression?
And finally, is it an image that will become dated easily? Will it withstand the test of time? Or is it for a company that needs to be constantly updating it's image.
