Cincinnati Veterinarian, Dr. Jim Ryan, DVM, graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1988, and came to Cincinnati in 1989. He is a past president of the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association and has served on committees of the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association as well as the American Animal Hospital Association.

AAHA Membership

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is proud to be a member hospital of the American Animal Hospital Association. To become a member of this organization, a hospital must submit to regular inspections of the facility, as well as the protocols used for medicine, surgery, dentistry, etc.

Veterinary Services

Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is a full service small veterinary hospital providing medical, surgical and dental care for dogs and cats, puppies and kittens. Red Bank Veterinary Hospital's specialized equipment includes standard and dental x-ray machines, electrocardiology, pulse oximetry, tonometry and more.

Dr. Ryan is a member of the Veterinary Information Network, and receives extensive continuing education each year. In addition both of our veterinary technicians attend continuing education seminars and help our practice keep up to date with the changing face of veterinary medicine.

In addition to the services we provide at Veterinary Hospital, we have ongoing relationships with many area specialists and local emergency/critical care facilities so that our patients can receive secondary care if needed.


Red Bank Veterinary Hospital also offer boarding of your dog or cat, puppy or kitten.

The Red Bank Veterinary Hospital is open 8 am to 7 pm Mondays,
8 am to 6 pm Tues-Friday (closed Tuesday noon to 3:30) and
8 am - noon on Saturdays.
