Genetic Counseling
Education in:
Genetic Disorders, and working with Families, Children, Babies

Graduates of the University of Cincinnati's College of Allied Health Science in Genetic Counseling and as a graduate of this program, you will be qualified to counsel families or individuals who may be at risk for genetic disorders. You and your genetic team members will be responsible for identifying and interpreting risks and explaining inheritance patterns, prognosis, testing information and providing supportive counseling for your clients. You will be working with pregnant mothers as well as children and babies.
