Ohio: Our State was created to prepare students for the Ninth Grade Ohio Proficiency Test in Citizenship and it works! In the summer of 1992, Cincinnati Public Schools adopted this book. Following are the passing rates for their students in the autumn of the succeeding years:

1992 about 48% of 9th graders passed.

1993 about 46% of 9th graders passed.

1994 about 67% of 9th graders passed!
